The launch of Filament v5 brings with it our fancy new Filament branding–something that we've been working on behind the scenes for a long time. It sets us up to keep pushing Filament (the framework, the content, and the community) forward for years to come! Of everything that we've created, though, one specific part of the branding stands out as our absolute favorite. Actually, make that three specific parts: our mascots.
Today, I want to formally introduce Filament's intrepid mascots, who have taken up the torch of representing their own distinct areas of the brand.
#Sparky

If you've been around the Filament community since the beginning, you know who Sparky is. With the rebrand, Sparky's been given a bath and a whole new style, while still looking just like the beloved spikey fox we all know and love.
Sparky loves all things Filament, especially the community that has loved and supported Filament all these years. It's a perfect match, too! Sparky's energetic (and let's be completely honest, slightly chaotic) personality is a very accurate reflection of our Filament community. He is a wonderful representation of the passion and quirkiness that sets our users apart within the wider Laravel ecosystem.

#Atlas

Where Sparky has a chaotic streak, Atlas is the epitome of stability and technical prowess. As the tallest in the room (by far), naturally Atlas was first in line to take up the role of managing our TALL-stack foundations across the Filament brand and products. He is an organized, structured presence with a remarkable ability to see the big picture, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't let loose and have some fun from time to time. Don't tell him that we told you, but he has a hidden passion for obscure house music–he says it puts his head in the clouds!

#Barney

The newest addition to the Filament team, Barney is your go-to bird for any and all knowledge about Filament. He single-handedly organized the documentation refresh and regularly walks through the "Getting Started" guide to ensure a smooth onboarding for new users. Because of his innate clarity when guiding others, Barney was an easy choice to be the mascot in charge of all learning and documentation for the Filament organization. His laid-back, yet intentional demeanor gives him an easily-approachable vibe that we know you're going to love. And, because he's nocturnal, he's the perfect mascot for all you night-owls out there.
